I had my hair done here by Carol. I followed her from the city. She is great with detail and listens to the customer. I was getting Peek a Boos done and a cut. The pocess went well and everything turned out amazing. I am so happy with my new do. The Salon is open and inviting and the staff is extremely friendly. If you are looking for a great service this is the place to go. Never disappointed.

The staff is very friendly, and kind, however it’s three times now that I go to this particular location for my daughter and mother-in-law and am not satisfied with the cuts whatsoever. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and would ask for someone else the following time. The second time I went my daughters hair ended up with uneven and choppy layers, and was supposed to be a simple trim with long layers. Now the third one I figured with new management that I would give them a final shot which turned out to be the final straw, they gave my mother in law a mans cut when she asked for a long pixie cut and my daughters hair was supposed to be shoulder length at the back and past collarbone in the front and it is now AT HER CHIN CONSISTANTLY ALL AROUND. She is still beautiful but I am so displeased with how the hair cuts turn out every time! That’s six haircuts and no satisfaction. Even the 5 or six times my husband had gone he was unsatisfied with uneven, horribly unblended cuts. It will be the last time I visit first choice and more specifically this Embrun location. Unfortunate because as I said they are super fun and friendly and great with children(that’s where the two stars come in, if it were based on personality I’d give five stars but it’s all about the cuts) ! :( thank goodness hair grows back!

Amazing customer service very friendly staff I especially love the great prices. I always try getting Carol to do my family hair because she’s been my hairdresser for 18+ yrs I get what you ask for and feel fabulous every time. I believe people that post bad reviews are ridiculous or must be referring to before the new employees and management. All the employees are great and so is the manager. Due for a cut this week❤️
