This review is regarding haircut for both Serena and Stephanie I've been here several times actually and I can tell you legitimately, your experience is going to depend alot on which stylist you choose and whether you choose a busy day or not. I'm one of those hair freaks who won't let anyone come close with a scissor unless they're perfect. 3 or so years back I heard of this place and I saw a lot of good reviews about Serena on Yelp, so I decided to take a chance and made a consultation with her. I was going from Hip length hair to shoulder length hair with a particular style in mind, SO NO I WANTED SOMEONE WHO KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING! lol During the consult I got the vibe that Serena definitely wasn't confident in either her abilities or her skill to give me the type of cut I desired. Nonetheless she seemed like a sweet girl so I decided to give her a chance. It turned out okay, it wasn't much what I wanted, it was alot shorter than I wanted so it shocked me at first but I just waited till it grew out a bit, I didn't like the wierd cut pattern she did in the front so I fixed it a bit by myself at home. I also didn't like that she kept trying to make me look "sophisticated". I' d give that visit a 3.9/5 So a year later my hair had grown out a lot and I decided I should get it cut again, I came back to Serena for the same thing as before with minor adjustments so that way I don't have to fix it again at home. I don't know if she was exhausted or what but she went in a totally different direction and kept forgetting things, so I had to point then out. In the end she forgot to lighten my hair that the bottom and I had hair that was heavier at the bottom so it ended up flipping out and irritating my skin around that area too. Frankly, I was annoyed. But I didn't think I'll of Serena, I just assumed she was tired or forgetful. I'd give this visit a 3.5/5 So fast forward 1 year, (aug-sept2017) I have an important event coming up, booking with Serena in vagaro will be a 3-4 week wait time. So I decide I should take a chance.with another stylist. I have a hard time switching stylists because of anxiety but of course you never know unless you give it a chance. This time the cut I was going for was a but more difficult and risque, modern, chic, bold and unique. The gal I chose for my hair ended up being Stephanie Russell, she had appointments available and was able to squeeze me in on short notice. She was very genuine and upfront and honest I feel. I showed her a compilation of pictures of what I wanted and explained to her in words as well what I was sort of going for. I didn't have an exact picture but several different pictures depicting all the different things I wanted. I didn't feel rushed and she didn't over cut, she textured my hair like a pro, gave my fine hair more of a boost, and lightened it at the bottom so it wasn't to heavy. She took my horrid looking outgrown hair to something beautiful light and bouncy when curled and sexy dangerous and racy when straight or blow dried. She also went over some products that would help me with textured hair. Honestly it's been a long time since I've been this happy with my hair cut. I loved it when I saw it done and I love it everyday, I look at it and go wow, it's so effortless to do and look amazing too. I love it so much, thank you Stephanie . I would recommend Stephanie to anyone. She's my new permanent. I would rate this visit 4.9/5, if not higher, I got beyond what I expected. So from my experiences I had only been to 2 different stylists here. This place is different, don't come in expect to be greeted and always given a walk in appointment. The stylists who work here are almost like individual stylists who work independently in this salon. So it isn't a bunch of employees of a salon. They're separate, it's hard to describe. Most of the time the stylists are busy with there clients but they will greet you when they notice you. I don't personally care about being greeted but I know some who make a big deal over it, so just keep that in mind. Ty Stephanie

Don't go there especially to serena the worst experience of my life. Asked for blond highlights and ended up spending 125 for my hair to have red tones now.
