So today I went to aura and asked for a trim and some layers to get rid of my split ends. Worst mistake I've ever made, my hair was half way down my back, which had taken me 2 years to grow to that length; my hairdresser showed me about how much she was trim off for me (an inch) my hair is now above shoulder length with choppy uneven shorter pieces of hair that cannot be fixed unfortunately. I will now have to wait a few months for it to grow out so I can go get this fixed. After I had stopped her from cutting it any shorter than it was getting, she made a suggestion about something I could massage into my scalp to help my hair grow longer. She herself had absolutely no hair. I'm almost certain my hairdresser had no idea what she was doing. I thought I would share my experience for anyone else in the future
