I have been going to Modern touch for awhile now and I recently switched stylists. I got a balayage, cut and style done by Bob. I came into the salon with a picture of what I had in mind for the colour and he did an AMAZING JOB! He did my hair exactly the colour I wanted and I could not be happier with my results. I have seen him the last couple times I have been in the salon now and he never disappoints! It all started when I had a bad colour job done to my hair that was done by someone else and it was not at all what I asked for! He was very accommodating and fixed the colour to what I wanted. Ever since then I always see him, very talented and professional.

Cost cutter service at mid level salon pricing A non-engaged owner who doesn't invest in newer salon training or customer support protocol. Two to three stylist of many is average or above average. After a bad color and hack job when trying a new stylist, the manager would not even return my email regarding my poor service experience. There is a saying the fish rots from the head. In this case, a poor owner contributes to poor skills and customer care. I was going to this salon for 18 months and while they have expanded the location size a better use of funds would be to invest in your people. Its not hard to get in but problematic if you want to see the top stylist on short notice under a week) other than that there are many openings leading me to believe there is not much of a following for the remainder of the staff at this location.

SHOP LOCAL AND GET THE BEST CURLY CUT AROUND! I tried this salon because a friend recommended it. I had a great experience! There are clear expectations before your appointment so there are no surprises and you can go into it informed and know exactly what you will get. The owner welcomed me in and offered me refreshments until my appointment time, which was quick. It was my first time so they showed me an informative video beforehand and I learned a lot about my hair. During the appointment, it was professional and friendly, but you could see that you were getting a service from a real locally owned small business - a mom with children and running a business. I much prefer giving my business to members of my community instead of big corporations which do not care about you. I value building community and value great work, and this salon ensures I get professional level care without sacrificing my values. Love it! TRY IT!!!
