This place is disgusting. They have no concept of hair care. From the time you start the process, from wash to blow dry they are extremely rough with your hair. They wash it too rigorously, they comb it too fast when applying rollers and don't ensure your hair is not tangled. When they take out the rollers they just snatch the clips out pulling your hair. If you go here over time you will definitely loose hair. The workers are rude and if you ask them to be gentle, they have an attitude with you and start talking about you in spanish. Today, I am officially done. First, the lady asked what rollers I wanted, when I was explaining it to her she abruptly said with an attitude, "yeah I know". Well *itch can I finish my sentence. Then as I was sitting in the chair having my hair rolled the lady started yelling ,speaking to another co-worker. She did it multiple times so I told her to stop yelling in my ear please. I don't understand grown people who act rude then you check them, but they catch an attitude. So I am supposed to sit here and let you blow out my ear drum. And, I don't understand people who you are paying to do a service when they act like they are doing you a favor. Salons like these are still in business because they are in neighborhoods with alot of foot traffic and people continue to come for convenience although the place is horrific. They will wash 5 to 6 peoples hair and have them all standing with wet hair, cold waiting to get their hair rolled. Like wth, are we waiting for something free or am I paying to get my damn hair done. Lastly, don't ever get your hair relaxed here. They relax it and don't have a sink reserved for you so your standing burning to death waiting for a sink to become available. One lady today was waiting and looked like she had tears in her eyes. It's ashamed how they treat people for real and of course it's minorities just like them who patronize them and they could care less. Don't spend your money here. Go else where.

I would give Sisters a 0 if I could. This review isn't about how they do hair because they may do hair beautifully but customer service is awful and so my review is on their exceptionally rude staff. My experience was horrible at Sisters. I was there for approx. 10 minutes and I didn't even get my hair done yet it was awful. RUDE staff. I live out of State and was only in the area to see a Easter show at Brooklyn Tabernacle Church. I needed my hair blown out and spotted Sisters walking to the church from the subway. The play was at 3 and by 4:45 me and my mom walked in the salon. I did read lots negative reviews online but I thought I would still give it a try. It was crowded. So I was told I would have to wait on line. The lady at the front desk pointed in a random direction that actually wound up being a line for the bathroom so my mom was clarifying what line and a lady so rudely and sarcastically asked her if she was getting her hair done. My mom had just gotten her hair braided...so she said "no but my daughter is." The lady then tells my mother she has to leave. She and I thinking it may have been a language barrier or misunderstanding, re-affirm I want to get my hair done and not my mom. So she says very rudely and very condescendingly "I understand. I know what she said and she can't stay here if she's not getting her hair done. It's the rule." At which time she pointed to a sign hanging and said it's her rule. They kicked my mother out and they kicked me out. I would never go back there or recommend it.

I went for color and my scalp was totally burned. They left the color in for 45 mins to color the grey. They need to stop the chatter and focus on the client. I will never go back there!

Been good there for few years. However, the yesterday I was not satisfied at all with my hair. My edges wasn't blow out and the center wasn't correctly blow out. Normally when I get a wash and set my hair last two week but don't last for a day. Not because of the heat but for poor service. Them are unprofessional when you tried to tell them that they do something wrong. I don't know I am going back there again. They don't let you use your own hair products. Please not go here!!!!
