Had my hair cut on two occasions and had highlights done on the last visit a couple of years ago. Haircut was OK if you like her particular style of cutting (layers), but she was unable to adjust the style when I asked. The highlights were a disaster as she highlighted all the hair rather than just the roots which needed it. This resulted in a lot of damage to my hair which basically broke off and had to be cut.

Bella did a good straight perm on me and gave me a creme treatment as a courtesy. She also made me a good discount. Just make sure you don't want to cut your hair, if you don't want.

This salon is a mom and pop business. They are the sweetest couple. The husband takes care of the appointments and money, and the wife is the hairdresser. They have an assistant that washes hairs and do any other miscellaneous tasks. The hairdresser is very passionate and she has an eye and mind of an artist. She is not like a conventional hairdresser where she'll simply just do what you want, but she'll listen to you and make suggestions to a style that suites you. Their prices are very reasonable and it includes hair washing & a nice neck massage. They do get busy, so i recommend to make an appointment everytime to have priority. In general they use a first come first serve policy and sometimes even though one might've made an appointment, one may have to wait a bit. I would recommend this place to those who are open minded, flexible, and willing to try different hair styles. If you are rigid with your hair styles, this salon is not for you.

I was a customer for over 2 years and stopped coming for the following reasons. - Posted hours of operation mean nothing. Typically closes earlier (over a hour) than posted hours of operation for my walk-in visits. - Booked appointments don't mean anything. For my booked appointments, I've had at least 2 encounters where Bella closed up her shop over a hour prior to posted closing time without a call back to inform me of my cancelled appointment. - She has her own judgement of what looks good/best on you, not what you want/expect as a customer. She forces her perception on her customers while she's chopping off your hair. Needless to say, I have not been back and don't recommend anyone to go there.
