So i want to share my personal experience with Sanctuary salon. To start off, the only reason this salon is receiving 1 star instead of ZERO is because their hair styling is great, too bad the customer service (including the owner) is extremely unprofessional. I called 2-3 weeks before to make an appointment on Feb 20, 2018. 3 days before Friday morning I was asked to cover another girl's schedule at work coming Tue (Feb 20). So I called the same day to cancel my coming appointment. My first line was "I can't make it Feb 20, please cancel". Also tried to fit in Annette's schedule, but she gets booked very fast. On wed Feb 21 I can see that I was charged not only cancellation fee ($50) but the price of the service itself ($130). Seriously?!! Called the salon. Left a message. Called again. Finally could speak to the owner/manager Annette, who told me that the receptionist couldn't make a mistake because ... that's her daughter and she's a professional. Seriously??!!! So basically they refused to refund even when I told them I have a screenshot of call history, date and duration of the call. So basically no service, was charged $180, now have to deal with the bank and plus Annette told me that they know when it's me every time I call the salon ... because of my heavy accent. SERIOUSLY???! That's just rude.
I pay a lot of money and I want to be treated nice, that's just ridiculous. So I guess I'll be looking for a new salon now.
