These folks are great, truly. Never once was I told they were too busy or understaffed. Everywhere else in town was either closed on my days off work, or they turned my young daughter away because they were either too busy, or told me "I don't do girl's hair" even though signs out front invite men and women walk-ins. Top Salon has NEVER let me down.

Worst most rude and filthy barber shop and staff I've ever seen. Over priced. I wanted a haircut and the man who cut my hair was very rude and did a poor job and refused to fix it. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This place is just really hard to get info... No website, no details here on Google. So I tried to call yesterday, mid-day... no answer... and no real info on the recording. OK, so I still don't know if they take appointments, if they take walk-ins, NO Info at all. So this morning I decide to try my luck on a walk-in... Get there and there's signs everywhere, "No ATM"... "No Credit Cards". OK, so in this day and age, that's NOT typical, thanks for letting me know on Google, the absolutely FREE ad and info platform... Oh wait... They DIDN'T post any of that info... Long story short, I called another place who communicated WAY better, they had an open chair, went there and got a haircut, paid with a card through Venmo and went home. I guess I'll never know how the actual haircuts are at Top Salon, but from what I saw, oh well.

I have been going to this wonderful place for over 20 years. They are excellent in giving great haircuts. I’ve never made an appointment and they always get me in and out with a great haircut in a short amount of time. All of my family members go here and hundreds of my co-workers and friends come here. This is a favorite place to go in Susanville.

Terrible terrible terrible. I walked in with gel in my hair and the guy doesn't even bother to wash or wet it to begin cutting it, and finishes very fast. I ask him to wet it and go over it with the razor again, which he refuses. I leave irritated and when I get home and take a shower I realize my hair is cut unevenly due to this man's haste and lack of care. Do not get your haircut at this place. Period.
