Parlour is a one of a kind hair salon that provides many services. It is located in a beautifully restored historical home in the heart of the Ball State University campus. You will enjoy the quiet, serene setting. Parlour also has several products available to purchase that are not readily available at other salons in the area. The stylists are up to date on the latest styles and techniques. Parlour is also home to a yoga studio that has a large variety of classes along with a flexible schedule. I highly recommend Parlour, you will not be disappointed.

I've gotten my hair cut here twice based on a recommendation. Each time I came I was so excited. The place looks super professional and awesome. I am a 25 year old grad student, and want to be more professional which I why I choose here. My first haircut was okay, nothing crazy good but it took an insanely long time. My second haircut was the quickest haircut I ever had, the stylist forgot to ask me what I wanted, I had to tell her, and it was really uneven Although the actual haircuts weren't a total nightmare, on both occasions I left feeling the worst I ever had from a haircut. With the exception of the front desk, I felt like I was a second class citizen. The stylists all seemed visibly annoyed and irritated with me. I have honestly had a better experience and better haircuts at Supercuts then here. I don't know if its because I'm not a rich middleclass woman, if they thought I wouldn't be a regular customer (I would have been), or what, but I can't recommend them. I had two different stylists, I'm sorry I don't remember their names. If you get recommended this place I would go out of your way to get the stylist you were recommended. Wish I had a better experience, seemed like a neat place.

Although the salon appeared great and professional, my stylist didn't do what I asked her to do. I had to come back for more color a week later and she charged me 60% less than the first goaround even though she used the same amount of product both times. I also felt as if she was rushed. I'm not saying all of the stylists are this way. I just had a bad experience with mine. I'd hope that with the quality of this salon, each and every stylist would be just as good but i did not find this to be accurate.

My husband wanted to treat me to a cut and color and the last time we were at Ulta in Noblesville was the LAST TIME! Horrible service there. So He came to Parlour here in Muncie, and they quoted him a price for a cut and color and set an appointment time on the same day! We return and it is a beautiful salon with a lovely atmosphere and that's before I go sit down to wait for my new stylist. Once I met with the stylist (lost my card with her name) I was very impressed. She listened to what I wanted and then went about doing it in a very pleasant manner. I am a disabled Veteran with Fibromyalgia and have difficulties getting up - she was very pleasant with helping me sit down at the shampoo bowl and helping up, without making me feel guilty for being disabled! The whole experience from walking in to the time the service was finished and we were not rushed, we were treated with respect, the whole staff I interacted with were friendly and gracious. I will definitely be going back to Parlour again and again!

Never had a bad experience with the salon but made an appt to get my nails done there for the first time and I thought my appt was at 3:30 but it was at 3:15, I get there at 3:25 and tell the girl at the front desk I'm there to get my nails done and she tells me to have a seat... so I did and waited thinking that it's taking him a long time and about 20 min later the SAME front desk girl comes over to me and ask AGAIN what I'm there for... ummm...my nails and she goes, your appt was at 3:15 he didn't think you were coming so he left... would you like to reschedule?? ARE YOU SERIOUS! My fault that I mistakenly confused my appt for 3:30 and arriving at 3:25 just to be told to have a seat for 20 min then come over and tell me he left!!!!!
