I was excited to get a manicure from Kosmos because of all the great reviews that I read. I scheduled two back-to-back appointments for my friend and me. I told the lady on the phone that I would like the first appointment to be for 1:30PM. She got the time wrong twice as 1PM, and I corrected her twice and told her 1:30PM. Needless to say, I thought all was well with my appointment time because SURELY she listened to me the second time I corrected her.
My friend and I arrived at Kosmos a little before 1:30PM for our manicures and were PROMPTLY turned away because we were "late". I explained to the lady at the desk that it must have been put in the computer wrong and also explained the mix-up that happened on the phone. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry for the mix-up" or anything. Instead, the icy front-desk lady told me that I was wrong and that they were at no fault.
What happened to the customer being right? What happened to apologizing for mix-ups with scheduling? An apology (even without a manicure) would have gone a long way for me, and I would have likely given Kosmos another try. However, I guess my money is not worth as much as other people's money to Kosmos. This all to say, I will not be going back.
Hospitality means a lot to me -- hopefully it will begin to mean more to Kosmos.
