I would like to start by saying to rate Caleigh would be too impersonal because 5 stars isn't nearly enough to describe the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING job she did on my very challenging hair! Over a year ago my waist length hair was fried by my then stylist of several years. I had no choice but to get it all cut off.. above shoulders to be exact. As sickened as I was I was more determined to get my hair healthy again but nothing worked. I tried a few local places (North County) but never going back to any of them. I then tried a place in Clayton but they only took advantage of the situation by selling me overpriced products. My husband got online and read up on many salons and found Salon Basia. I couldn't handle another disappointment and/or throw more money away. My experience at Salon Basia was so refreshing! I felt very comfortable and more than that..I felt important. Caleigh took the time to go over everything from what she thought needed to be done and the price of it all. Which by the way was significantly lower than what I had been paying at any other place. So I apologize for the "book" of a review but to know my story is to show how MUCH I appreciate the staff at Basia for being so inviting and to Caleigh (my hair Angel) THANK YOU YOU'RE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! See you soon girl!!

My stylist, Donna, is wonderful. I have been going to her for about 2 years now and I love her. They always text or call me to remind me of my appointment (very helpful) and I never feel pressured to buy product. My cut and color are excellent, and the one time I wasn't satisfied, she fixed it at no cost to me. The atmosphere of camaraderie and welcoming is very apparent, and they offer free coffee, water, soda or wine! The hours are flexible, by stylist, and I'm very happy that I can walk there from my house. Great salon.

I have been coming to Salon Basia since I was a little girl. Everyone who works there is excellent (especially Connie)! They are always up to date on all the latest styles and new techniques. More importantly, they know my hair better than I do. I trust them so much that I've stopped giving suggestions and let them cut/color my hair based on their expertise. I always leave thrilled with how it turns out! Everyone who works there takes the time to get to know you and they treat you like family. I have a challenging work schedule, but they are very flexible and always find a way to make me an appointment. Furthermore, the salon itself is modern, artsy, and chic. I'm convinced there's no better salon in St. Louis!

Connie Hively from Salon Basia is probably the best hairstylist in Saint Louis. She understands styling and hair coloring better than any hairdresser i have ever known. Her work is pure artistry. Whenever Connie cuts and colors my hair, i am amazed at the outcome, and i have received many compliments on the results of her skills. The atmosphere at Salon Basia is very pleasant and being there is always an enjoyable experience,
