2 ER Visits and Antibiotics. No Refund

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality DO NOT USE THIS FILTHY PLACE! I DONT CARE HOW LONG THEY BEEN IN BUISNESS! AFTER 2 WEEKS DEVELOPED PAINFUL CELLULITIS FROM BRAIDER DIRTY HANDS AND COMBS. I HAD TO TELL BRAIDER TO TAKE DIRTY HAIR OUT HAIR DRYER PRIOR TO USING IT ON ME! APPROACH BRAIDER TODAY FOR REFUND AND AUTOMATICALLY ITS MY FAULT CAUSE I DIDN'T LEAVE BRAID IN TO SHOW HER AND SHE TRIED TO SAY SHE WAS THE ONE WHO DID MY HAIR! REALLY? LIAR! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUISNESS! FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GO TO!!

My hair always comes out great but I cannot understand why the prices change so often. A couple of mos ago I paid $30 for 2 braids today it was $35. I guess they know the quality of work is good so they charge high prices.

After a dealing with a braiding salon in Somerset who misunderstood my hair request and making appointment changes and after calling another salon in Elizabeth who said box braids would be $120 plus I would have to pay for the hair....I called Mary this morning to see if I could get an appointment knowing that it was on the same day and it was Saturday. She told me to come at a certain time. I arrived and waiting about 30 minutes and I was in the chair of one of her braiders name Monique. She even braided in a few strands of color hair to match my already burgandy colored hair. Mary has a great shop,, great working relationship with her staff and everyone was very, very nice. Her girls work hard. During my time there, I saw so many beautiful braiding and cornrows styles. They have all types of hair, color, etc. It's nice that she takes walk-ins but it's also good to make an appointment. And if it's Saturday, you have to be patient:-) ..It's worth it! Love my new box braids. Thank you, Mary!

This is my experience: Arrived at 4:15 and asked how long is the wait. Mary said not long. Waited 3 1/2 hours to be seated to get my 2 cornrows. I could have ran a few errands instead of sitting there. They do good work, but their time management and communication skills need improvement.

I simply asked for medium box braids and I got small ones which I didnt ask for and I won’t be come here again. And tell Mary forget about a tip! My hair is still in pain, I’ve never had any problems whenever I got my hair done at the salon I usually go to, but this one is terrible. They braided my edges up and they done it too tight. You will never see me in the salon again, this is ridiculous. I should of just walked out instead of paying!

I recently got my hair braided in this shop about two weeks ago and I can honestly say that I would definitely recommend to a friend! Fatima did my hair. The braids came out very neat and beautiful. She didn't take not one break so she braided my hair rather quick. Maybe 3 hours for box braids. The owner herself made sure to take care of me. She was very nice and pleasant. She made sure I got the hairstyle I wanted. There was an issue with the hair I brought in and the style I wanted but they accommodated me wonderfully. Mary is a genuinely friendly person. Just make sure to get here early if you want to be in and out. Hands down best hair place iv been to. Can't wait for my next visit!! Thank you! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
