Let me tell you about my experience with Bella Vita Salon and its manager. If I had three words to describe this business, it would unprofessional, incompetent, and inconsiderate. I called and booked on appointment with a stylist that would travel on location for my wedding and I was told that the trial hair style would cost me $30-$35. I arrived on a Saturday (after 2hrs of travel) to get my hair done and once the appointment was finished, I asked my stylist what time she would arrive at my venue. She looked completely puzzled, come to find out I was booked with a person who does not travel on site. Not only that, but I was charged $60 not $30-$35!!! I tipped $6 and then to add insult to injury, when I looked at my credit card statement they even OVERCHARGED my tip by $2. Basically I wasted my time and money. When I called the following Monday to speak with the manager, she did not apologize but instead laughed it off, like ooops and made excuses for the lack of competence! She did however offer to come in on a Saturday and redo my hair, since she actually travels. I told her that I would call her back the next day with a head count in order to put down a deposit for my party and to schedule my redo. When I called back the next day, I had to leave a message. She never called back. So, I called back the following day, again I had to leave a message. By this time I was getting a little aggravated, so I called them AGAIN and said that I would not like a redo that I just want my money back. At this point no one had had called me or attempted to make things right, again all I got from the manager was excuses of being too" busy" to return any of my three calls. When a customer has been wronged, I am of the opinion that a business, especially a manager should go above and beyond to make things up to the client, if it is a reasonable situation and the client is right. In the end I was offered a refund, which was due , but I will not be going back. Poor management and the employees must not be trained properly.
