I usually like Great Clips as a fast and cheap way to get my hair cut. As a guy with simple taste in hairstyle, I don't need some crazy expensive salon to get the look I want. When I went in today, there was an issue with the credit card machine, and they were unable to take payments by card.
I understand that technological issues come up and that there's often little, if anything, that can be done about that. Anyway, they called my name, and as I didn't have cash or time to go to an ATM, I wondered what they might be able to do. Turns out, they were able to do...nothing. I don't know what I was expecting. Maybe a coupon or something? Even if not, I wouldn't have been upset, but they didn't even seem to acknowledge that it's an inconvenience. No 'Oh, I'm sorry,' or 'I apologize for the inconvenience!' She just looked away and called the next person.
Maybe I'll try again later, but...yikes.
Even so, I'm giving it three stars because this is the only time I've had an issue with the company (though this is my first time coming to this location).
