Yesterday i visited nu look salon for hair cut and i was pretty impressed with their services. I got an amazing hair cut from manpreet. Prices also seems to be reasonable

They should have a price list. I have been charged differently for the same service. I have been charged $20, $22 and now $25 EXACT same service which is having my full face wax done. Personally, I think if they haven’t “seen” me before they charge what they like. And those who know I’ve been there charge the same. I’m not sure how to feel about this but I’m obviously writing this because it has bothered me. I don’t mind paying but just have a set price, please. It’s very unprofessional for a business not to have set prices. I would suggest this should be looked into further. Thank you.

I went to Nu look located at Ellerslie road for my hair cut and laser. Hair removal for my ears. Hardeep did an owe some job. She is very knowledgeable, customer centric and caring and always good with appointments. I have been going there since almost 5 years and very happy with their service. I highly recommend this place and also Hardeep.

1st time going here and found the staff to be very unprofessional. I dont usually write bad reviews, however i went to get a wax and the lady burned me with it and said the skin is just sensitive. She blew on the wax before applying it on me which i found very off putting. I heard lots of good things about this place, but i wont be going back. I just found everyone unprofessional and got treated like i didnt matter as a customer.

This is my first time in this salon and I had a great haircut experience with Manpreet. She was patient and careful. I did not feel rushed. She took time styling my hair to how I want it done. Thank you, Manpreet and Nu Look Salon!

I never write negative reviews but this one really pushed my buttons. Looking at the number of negative reviews I dont think the management will even take any action. Writing this detailed review so that others are aware what they can expect. Really unprofessional conduct by a hair dresser named Sunita. I have been going to her for haircut since 2017. For past few months i went to another hair dressor because the shop was closer to home. Today thought of going back to her. Called in the shop at 7:30 PM and spoke to her. Shop closes at 8PM and she asked me to come within 10 min. I rushed to the shop and was on time. Once I was there she got mad at another hair dressor saying why allowed another client at closing time. She told Sunita that I talked to Sunita on phone and Sunita asked him to come. Sunita kept complaining about me coming for hair cut in front of me. I felt very disrespected but ignored because I wanted to get the haircut. Then she made a comment that she thought I was some other guy and therefore agreed for a haircut at closing time. I lost it and politely told her that I will come some other time. I do not understand how someone can treat a long time customer like this.
