I just got an amazing haircut from a student. It was exactly what I wanted - she listened diligently and had a very attentive instructor to help guide her through the process. I have trouble getting this caliber of haircut from an established professional... I feel that the extensive questions they are trained to ask really help to achieve satisfaction for the client. I will go back again soon, this time for a colour! Keep in mind - this is a school and you will have novice stylists performing your services but they have the support and the knowledge of their instructors consistently the whole time. Thank you so much!!!!

This is a school. So if you are okay with having your hair used as a teaching practice tool, then by all means. They seem to offer two different structures, 'student' cut and 'professional' cut. Although, we requested the 'professional' cut the results appeared to be that of a student, we ended up having to get it fixed somewhere else. Would not ever go back to Aveda at this location.

Do not get your bangs cut by someone very junior! But all the rest of my experiences were really great

I called in to book a same day appointment with one of their senior stylists and was helped to find a time that would mesh with my work schedule. My stylist was incredibly warm and efficient. She completely understood my time crunch and work quickly to get me out ASAP. I absolutely love my cut and will be going only to this salon from now on, especially since I can bring my pug!! ðŸ™ðŸ¼ Thank You!!!

Wonderful experience. If you're using the student services, I recommend Bessy. She's very warm and will make you feel welcome. She and her instructor were accomodating with my special request to cut minimum 8" off so my hair can be harvested and donated to Pantene Beautiful Lengths program (partnership with Canadian Cancer Society). I was impressed they squeezed me in for same day appointment. I was a model for waxing exams for two students at Aveda over a decade ago and had excellent experience both times. I'll be modeling for a makeup test soon so I'll keep posted on how that goes.
