Review of Melika Services

For the first time, I used the services of Melika. Her salon is clean, and she takes the time to do a super job. I was really happy walking out of her salon feeling like a new person....thank you for this wonderful service Melika.

I was not going to do a review but then I thought what happens if they ruin someone else's hair. This happened the day before I was going to a wedding. I asked for a root touch up they, the hair dresser and the stylist insisted I needed to bleach my roots. The owner then left and the stylist continued. She left me with no toner, no dye, blow dried my hair and said it looked great. It did not. I was in shock paid $360 and proceeded to another hair salon and pretty much begged them to help me which they did but unfortunately my hair is now destroyed as they either used to strong of bleach or left it on too long. Be warned.

Great first time experience at Melika salon. The hairstylist did a great job trimming and fixing my previous cut (the layers were jagged). It took about 25 minutes (I did cut only) including the hair drying at the end where she brushed out the tips of my hair with a round brush to show the new layers. You could tell she is very experienced and confident with her hair cutting skills. I loved the result! After taxes and pre-tips, it came to about $52 and I felt satisfied about paying the service. Will definitely go back!

I had my hair died, trimmed and my fade re-buzzed the day before my wedding. I have never felt so beautiful or comfortable in a salon, like I did here. Thank you Sadie! (I hope that is how I spell it, sorry if I got it wrong.) I will literally drive from Calgary to here at least once a year to get my hair cut by her again. She is phenomenal.

I have been coming to Melika Hair Salon for 8 years. Sedigheh is the best! Always friendly and welcoming as well as a very talented stylist. I would not trust my hair to anyone else!

My hairdresser was nice but worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten. Said I only wanted 2 inches off she cut 4” and it’s very choppy. She also didn’t wash my hair before cutting it which I have never gotten a hair cut where they don’t wash your hair first. For $60 not worth it. I was in and out in less then 15 minutes.
