At the end of my appointment I thought the cut was ok but it felt very rushed and I hadn't actually been shown the back of the cut at any time during the appointment. I wasn't happy with the colour but was giving it the benefit of the doubt because it was my first time colouring my hair and I was told by the stylist it would look better in a couple days. Admittedly, I was originally scheduled only for a cut but after talking to the stylist about colour I asked if he had time to add the colour that day and he said yes. He didn't and should have said no! He rushed through both the cut and colour and had the receptionist dry and style my hair. I didn't notice my hair is completely uneven until I got up this morning and the curl was gone. I actually had to cut a few pieces this morning that were obviously just missed by the stylist because they were a couple inches longer than the rest of my hair. The colour didn't seem great to me at the time (much darker and more orange than I was expecting) but I was told it would fade out over a couple of days so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt but the "fade out" he did by only colouring the top looks unfinished and amateur, like I tried to do it myself and failed. I cried this morning and I haven't cried over a hair cut in over 20 years. I will never go back and would definitely not recommend it. The stylist was too rough with the post colour conditioning as well. I thought it was going to be a nice massage but he just massaged way too hard and it actually hurt. Also when the debit machine went down when I went to pay the manager passed off the task of fixing it to the receptionist who was new and obviously didn't know what she was doing (not her fault). She was obviously struggling and the owner didn't step in to help. The owner was the one who cut my hair and I found his actions (and lack of) very unprofessional for a business owner. I did not make my concerns known at the time because I'm not one for confrontation and frankly just wanted to leave. Unfortunately, I left a bigger tip than intended (my bad) because I was very flustered. The cut can be fixed by someone else, though it will be shorter than intended, and I can only hope the colour fades out by my wedding in 2 1/2 months. I'm giving this feedback so hopefully this doesn't happen to someone else.
