This was my first appointment with Onyx Salon. I was so pleased with the atmosphere and the service. It was a welcoming and friendly environment and my hair is just perfect. Thank you so much Linda for doing such a great job. All the positive reviews influenced my decision to try this Salon and I am so very glad I did. I'll be a regular for sure.

I am saddened to leave a negative review since I first did have a very positive experience with onyx hair salon. An older and clearly experienced stylist at onyx worked on my hair and did a great job cutting and dyeing my hair. However, I came back for a second time and had a horrible experience. I was worked on by a different and young stylist who cut my hair. She did not wet, wash or prepare my hair at all. She simply took about 3 cuts, and a couple minor ones, and chopped half my hair off. The entire haircut took about a minute and a half and felt so carelessly done like it was a child carelessly chopping away at its barbies hair without actually being careful to make sure it looks good. I asked for 5 inches cut off and she took off 9. One side is significantly shorter than the other which she never checked. Furthermore, since I came from outside, my hair was slightly disheveled and my part was clearly messed up. Therefore, my hair is even worse and more unsymmetrical once I make my part even. One side of my hair has two distinct lengths of hair that does not natural and looks very choppy. I cannot even fix any of these errors without cutting my hair even more. I am devastated and heartbroken that she cut so much of my hair off despite me showing how much I wanted off and her agreeing. I have grown out my hair for years and was so happy with having long hair and now I am heartbroken that I will have to wait so long for my hair to grow back to a length where I can be happy with it again. Iâ€™m going to another hairdresser soon in hopes that she can fix what this one has done.

Veronica is a hair queen... Iâ€™ve never really received compliments on my hair before until I started getting my hair done by the queen herself. Even after a while of not having it done, I still receive compliments on the tones and colour. She makes your experience very comfortable, sheâ€™s really chill, and the best ever to girl chat with. My experience is always perfect, no complaints. So, If you wanna be a balayaged bombshell boss babe, Veronica is your girl. Her mom (I apologize I donâ€™t know her name) who also works here is also such a cute little lady and does my mother in laws hair. The thing I found extremely unique about this place is how they accommodated my mother in law that doesnâ€™t speak any english. They told my husband he didnâ€™t have to stay and that he could go and they would call him when she was ready. Which is not the norm, this situation understandably makes a lot of people uncomfortable. They even guided her on what colour to chose that was the most flattering. She came back to tell us how they had a conversation about their kids and where they were from even though there was a language barrier. Super sweet. My mother in law is always happy with her colour and it always looks amazing. She also styled my mother in laws hair for my wedding, and her hair never looked better, she was on fleek. So her mom slays too.

Linda makes me feel and look like a million bucks when I leave her!! I always get compliments every where I go about my hair .Veronica is amazing too.!!double dynamite diivas !!!

What an amazing experience! Linda did such a great job, I am truly impressed with the cut I received. The salon looks very modern and all the staff are so welcoming. Definitely recommend this place for the men out there looking for a great cut and style!
