I got a cut a few months ago with one of their stylists. The cut was pretty good but they didn't actually style it afterwards. If I'm paying $100 for a hair cut, I expect them to take their time to make it look beautiful afterwards. The stylist spent not even 5 minutes drying it and sent me on my way. I was shocked at the bill and I was unhappy with how it was styled. I went home and washed it right away to re-do it. It was at the end of the day and the stylist had mentioned it had been a long day and they were really tired. I get that they probably just wanted to go home, so I didn't hold it against them.
I wanted to go back and try a different stylist so I called today to get a quote. They were unable to provide a quote for a long hair cut, saying that all cuts start at $60 but it's up to the individual stylists to determine if they wanted to charge more based on how difficult they felt the cut was. So you're expected to go in and just pay whatever they decide to charge you. At other salons, I've at least been offered a free consultation. They seem to do good work but in my experience it's not good enough to justify charging whatever they feel like without even telling you beforehand.
