I have been to Zeal for over 10 years. I used to live in dt and go to that location and now I go to the one in rmd. The staffs are nice and well trained. Ellie, my hair stylist, she always choose the perfect colour for my skin tone. I highly recommend this salon to you!

I have been coming here for a few years and got my hair done by Shingo. He always gives the right suggestion on whichever hairstyle that fits me the most. I forgot the name but the reception girl greets me with her big smilie every time. Highly recommend the Richmond location!

This place is located on the second floor of Aberdeen center. The inside is clean and brightly lit and the place provides free WiFi. I got the hairstylist Toshi and the cut was horrible. The $50 haircut was on par with what I would get from Greatclips. The back of my head now looks like a zebra. I am very disappointed. Oh, if you like a horrible customer service experience, than this is the place for you. Good luck complaining to them about your hair and getting it fixed if it's not done right.

I moved to the area recently and asked a young man with a cool, Japanese looking hairstyle who did his hair. He told me Shingo-san at Zeal in Richmond. I've had my hair cut in Tokyo many times. The experience at Zeal is very much the same level of Japanese service and attention to detail. Style selection from a book, shampoo, scalp massage, cut, rinse, hot facial towel, shoulder massage, blow dry/style, pay the very reasonable cost and your one hour visit to Japan is done!
