This was my first time visiting Chura Aletta although Chura has been my primary hair salon for roughly 5 years now. Upon calling to make an appointment, Mineo was the individual assisting me and began to converse via text shortly after as he wanted to see what hair colour I was looking to have done. He was quick to respond and gave good recommendations, alongside advice regarding the procedure to ensure I was obtaining my desired hair colour without further damage. Ryo was my hairstylist and he was very friendly and professional throughout the appointment, he also recommended treatment for my hair which was very much needed. I was shocked to know that red hair is achievable without bleach, especially on dark thick hair. The outcome was beyond my expectations and my experience at Chura Aletta was wonderful. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to book a hair appointment!

The manager was very helpful and transparent over text. My stylist (Ryo) did a fantastic job cutting perfect choppy layers, bleaching, and dying my hair to a stunning purple colour. They even do a treatment and massage and my hair smells fantastic and feels so healthy even though its been bleached three times. Prices were extremely reasonable and he was able to achieve this in only 5 hours when previous similar style took 7+ hours for less good results at other salons. Atmosphere is super pleasant. Highly recommend visiting Chura Aletta location.

This was my first time to Chura. At first I was struggling a little bit to explain what I actually wanted. But my hair stylist listened to me with great patience, and understood all my requirements. I am so satisfied with my hair style. Also the price is really reasonable compared to other hair salons. Thank you!

I've been going to Chura for years for haircuts but this was my first time coming to the Aletta location and was my first time getting a balayage. From booking the appointment to actually getting my hair done, the staff were amazing through and through. Before booking my appointment, I was able to send them a photo of my current hair and my desired outcome and they were able to give me a very accurate and resaonable quote. My stylist was friendly, patient, and listened to all my needs and made some great recommendations. He was really meticulous throughout the process and made my hair look amazing 👏 thank you!

Always had my hair cut by Mineo in downtown where I started going to Chura and continued to see Mineo after his move to Granville. He has always been great but the last 2 cuts were horrendous. I’m thinking Covid must have gotten into him and both times he appeared moody, nonchalant and uninterested. Both jobs were rushed and he didn’t even bother to show me the result with a mirror. It looked alright from front but I was too shy to point out that it was not even. When I got home and used a mirror to look at my back, I was very disappointed that it was not only uneven, it was like a blind guy did my hair let alone looking styled. I hope he reflects on it and always make sure not to bring his unhappiness to work but to create beautiful hairstyles that he used to do. I’m willing to give him one more chance and if he does great again, I will afford him better rating. FYI, this is only handle, not my actual name.
