What an amazing experience here! I had a balayage and I had it done with Anastasia! I highly recommend her to anyone that comes in! She did an absolutely amazing job! Exactly like I wanted to the dot! Worth every penny! The salon itself is amazing! Friendly environment, free coffe and tea. Anastasia even offered to go out and pick me up some food cause it was going to be a long appointment. If I could give this salon and Anastasia more stars, I WOULD!

I was recommended by my sister in law who had her hair done here and it turned out beautiful, however unfortunately I left with an uneven haircut I was really upset with. I asked for an inch or 2 off, all one length (which I understand is a difficult cut to do) with a bit of texture on the ends as I didn’t want it to be thick and blunt. I ended up with short bits on the left side of my hair that the right side didn’t match and the ends of my hair all different lengths and quite choppy. The lady used a razor to cut my hair which left a lot of damage to my hair. I did contact the salon to let them know, and Carmen (owner) offered for me to come in and have her personally fix it free of charge, however I respectfully declined as I was too worried to have them cut my hair again. I booked in with a different salon in North Vancouver to re-cut it and will now unfortunately have to grow out the short bits because they’d need to cut way too much hair off to get it all one length like I originally wanted. On top of paying for another haircut, I needed to invest in products in order to repair the damage done by the razor which the North Van salon noticed right away. Try not to have your hair cut with a razor as it may cause damage to your hair. The ladies who work here are really lovely and kind, I just happened to have an unfortunate experience with my hair.

I booked a cut and half head of highlights. It took 1 hour and 45 min to do the highlight (med length, fine hair) and by then, I was running late to pick up my kids from school. So I had to walk out with wet hair. I rebooked for a week later to get the cut. I went back for the cut and when I got home, I noticed uneven bangs, one side of my bob was longer than the other, parts at the base of my head were longer than the top layer and there was chunky layers along the top. It looked terrible! My husband convinced me to try to get it fixed. So I called and spoke with the owner who agreed to fix the cut. This was now my third appointment, using up time on my days off. She did not apologize for the service or bad cut. In fact, she said it was my hair! It was so fine and poker straight that it was easy to see any unevenness and that the previous stylist didn’t give me a bad cut, just didn’t “soften the layering to accommodate for my hair”! Really? I will never go back and would never recommend this salon!!!
