I purchased a Groupon for their 'spa package'. The few staff members that I dealt with were friendly but not very professional. I'm not sure the girl performing the services has any formal training. The building is run down and the inside could use updating (i.e. exposed pipes in the massage room - see photo). I had a lot of issues with scheduling which I outline below the notes about my visit. I would not recommend this "spa" to anyone. Save your money and stay away.
-pedicure was nothing special and the polish started to come off after a day
-they turned the music off shortly after I got there and there was no music in the treatment rooms
-I was served ice water but the ice cubes made the water taste funny so I did not drink it
-the facial table was quite tall and very uncomfortable. I asked for a pillow to support my back but they did not have any so I was given a towel
-I was left alone while the mask sat on my face and for longer than the promised 10-15mins
-the massage table is WOBBLY! It shook through the entire treatment
-I was told that this was 'not a therapeutic massage but a relaxation one'. It was not relaxing. No rhythm, movements were much too quick and, as others have said in previous reviews, it was more of a rub-down than a massage. The majority of the time she focused entirely on rubbing her hands and, occasionally, her forearm over my back. Near the end she massaged my calves a bit (and my right foot for 5 seconds) and that was it.
-At one point she put hot stones on my skin. They were quite hot and she did not warn me or check the temperature at all before putting them on me
-The girl doing my massage was audibly yawning throughout the treatment
-The head hole for the massage table was too low and I had a headache by the end of the treatment. I had asked if it was possible to adjust it and was told that they didn't think so.
Booking issues:
I called in August to book my appointment and didn't actually get in until October. When I first called in I was told that there was only one girl who did the spa packages. She was not in at the moment and they needed to call her and figure out her schedule. I waited a week with no response. I tried calling and then I sent an email. Finally got a call back. I booked an appointment. They called me the next day to say that the girl that was to do the spa packages had started a new job and the appointment I booked no longer worked for her. They would figure out her new schedule and give me a call back. I waited almost two weeks this time. I called again. More scheduling conflicts (I can't remember the specifics as it's been so long). I waited ANOTHER 3 weeks before calling them again. Another appointment was booked. I was then called the evening before my appointment by the girl doing my appointment. She left a message saying that we would have to reschedule my appointment as it no longer worked for her. I called her back the next morning and left a voicemail. I heard nothing back so I called the shop directly and was able to book a different day & time. By this point my Groupon had expired so I couldn't walk away even though I no longer had any desire to go.
