Disappointed

I have been going to Imagine Salon and Spa for many years now. I was always so happy with my esthetic services…. up until about 2 years ago it has slowly declined. I’ve had waxing and have been burnt, microdermabrasion where I was left with red irritated skin, (and it wasn’t my first time having any of these services done) pedicures that left a bleeding toenail and gel polish that chipped after 3 days. The front desk service has sadly declined as well…. Messed up appts, forgotten to make appts, not letting the stylist know I am there for my appointment, and generally not following through on ‘promised’ emails or phone calls. I absolutely love this salon for my hair services as Ian is the consummate professional, and leaves me feeling so pampered, happy, and special everytime I see him. I am sad to write this review…. I can only think that perhaps the estheticians are overbooked and are rushing… not giving the quality of service they once did. 😞

First time visiting this Salon and Spa and was NOT disappointed....Loved how clean and dust free the salon was...loved the free parking...I was really impressed with how professional and friendly everyone was. Loved Monica who gave me my very first Cold Light Therapy, she went over everything in a professional manner and wrote things down so I wouldn't forget anything...pain free waxing...and such a wonderful personality!! Also, Ian was my stylist and I think he is a magician...that's all I can say...he is funny and caring and professional and made me look human again, he also gave great advice on how to dry and style my hair....plus I enjoyed a cool glass of wine....perfect afternoon....Thanks Ian and Monica for a great experience....see you again in five weeks....Highly recommend this salon and spa. On my first visit here I was impressed. Friendly, professional staff in a busy but organized space. Pros-online booking, quality products, and free parking. My stylist Kelsie was dynamite. She listened carefully, offered lots of great tips, and always made sure I was comfortable. Can't think of any cons. Would highly recommend.

Alicia knew exactly what to do with my curly hair and the colour she did turned out better than I could have imagined! I wish I could give them more stars!

I'm editing my previous statement, I've given the another chance and this time I was not disappointed. I think it depends on who you see. I went for a facial and I definitely recommend Monica to anyone that wants someone that knows what they are talking about and cares about your concers.
