I got my hair done by Katie for my prom and she left such an impression I just had to write a review. She was very patient with me and made sure everything was perfect to me even if it meant redoing it. Don't let her level 1 status deter you she will execute your hair to perfection. Also the curls lasted through 2;30hrs of dancing and the braid lasted a week :)

I am currently talking to a lawyer and I am so excited to serve papers to this establishment for the destruction of my hair, and emotional distress. I have other hair stylists happily supporting me and will be defending me as they cannot understand the terrible work provided by this place. They have ruined my hair. I recently moved from Toronto and wanted to find a hair stylist closest to me which was the biggest mistake of my life.The hair they do is completely embarrassing After messing up the first set of highlights done by Fro, I had specifically told them "do not touch my hair unless you could fix it" and after the owner, Carmen, went off for 10 minutes convincing me it will be okay, they have made it worse. They were unable to match blondes, lied about what can occur with my hair (I have gone to over 6 places asking for professional opinions in which they all apologized and were shocked- I have been asked if I botched my own hair and I had attempted bleaching it at home), and then told me it is balayage? I was told it was great work and I need to lower my expectations of having hair all one colour? I am fuming more and more. After years of going platinum blonde I have gone brunette to cover the terrible work this place stands by. Stay away at all costs. After leaving hair Xtacy crying twice, I am still shocked by the lack of transparency. If your skill set does not match the expectations of a customer let them know that. I walked around humiliated by the hair they have provided, while Carmen the owner was arrogant and rude when disclosing my concerns over the phone. Avoid at all costs unless you want a simple job that does not take much work or skill set.

From the front desk girls to all the stylists - top notch! Everyone is very welcoming and professional. Anthony has been doing amazing things to my hair since my first visit over 3 years ago. (I was brunette and went to platinum blond in one sitting with hair as soft as before!). Sitting in his chair and observing the other stylists, I can personally say that ALL of them do amazing work and their clients walk away happy and looking amazing. I highly recommend this salon - they are knowledgeable and some, have invested their time doing an extensive master hair cutting course with one of the leading hair guru"s in the European industry. I think if they take the time and effort to do that, that shows they really truly care about their craft and ultimately that ends with happy clients looking and feeling great!

Hair Xtacy is the most amazing salon ever! Thank you so much to Paige for giving me the sexy mermaid hair of my dreams! Paige is an incredible, knowledgeable, and truly talented stylist who goes above and beyond for her clients! She designed the most beautiful warm blonde balayage for me and today I got Bellami volume weft extensions installed by her and I'm obsessed! She exceeded my vision for my dream hair! So so happy, cannot recommend her enough! The salon itself is gorgeous, luxurious, always good vibes and great music! The entire team is always so welcoming, cheerful, and kind! Always so excited for my appointments there, truly an experience like no other!

Carolyne has been doing my hair for years and she does an amazing job everytime! She is by far the best stylist and colorist I have ever had. I regularly have friends strangers alike compliment my cut and colour; I tell them they have to see Carolyne at the Uptown - Ironstone Hair Xtacy.
