I booked an appointment here to look at/try on wigs to find one to wear while going through chemo. The lady I had there seemed helpful at first, showing me different styles that were similar to my own hair. I found a wig that I liked the style of and was told we could make some minor adjustments to it to suit me better. We then tried to find a colour for the wig but unfortunately there weren't any I liked.
At this point the woman kept trying to push different colours on me, which I kept telling her I didn't like, and then seemed to get upset/annoyed, like she thought I was too picky or something, and became short with me when I said I didn't like any of the colours she was showing me. She said "I don't know what to tell you, these are the only colours it comes in." I acknowledged this and told her that I thought I'd like to continue to look at other wig places to see if I could find something closer to what I was looking for. She told me that I wouldn't be able to find something better anywhere else and kept trying to push the wigs/colours on me. I told her that I didn't want to spend $400-500 on a wig if I'm wasn't going to be completely satisfied with it and she said "you just have to get used to the wig." I politely said no to her yet again and stood up to exit the fitting room.
After all of this she didn't even bother to say anything like "I'm sorry I couldn't help you find anything today" or anything similar that a person with a business would say to a potential customer. I left the shop and was almost in tears on the way home as the experience was very upsetting to me as the woman at the store did not show any compassion/kindness towards me or my situation and seemed only concerned about making a sale.
Losing your hair as a woman is hard enough without people treating you the way I was treated today. I do not recommend this shop at all!!!
