Terrible colour didn't listen

On either the 9th or 10th of August (can't remember the exact date) I went in for a colour and had the absolute worst of my life. I got a vat of bleach on my hair will some toner at the end. This was even though I said that my hair was too blonde and didn't look natural enough. I was hesitant when the stylist said what she was going to do and I asked some questions but in the end I thought "she's the professional". Two months on an my long hair (below the shoulder) is like straw and falls out easily. It will take years to repair the damage. I should have trusted my instincts on this one.

I have gone here for 4 years and no other places can compare. As someone who’s a more shy and introverted person, hair salons are intimidating. Yet here at New York New York, I felt welcomed & relaxed. The energy, the vibes and most importantly the lovely hairdressers. I want to say a personal thank you to Nidaa for joining me on my hair journey throughout these past 2 years, I appreciate her very much. From her taking time to go through each colour with me to ensure I make the right decision, to her recommendations on styles that will best suit me (no curtain bangs here!) Each time, I’ve come out of the hair salon, I feel incredibly beautiful and confident. My results are always consistent, beautiful and just like my example photos. I have recommend this place my friends and their siblings and they too have all felt the same way about this place. It is simply magical. Here is my most recent before & after

i will always recommend this place to everyone i know. the environment here is absolutely amazing & everyone here genuinely care and aren’t fake at all. Mary was the one who did my hair and WOW. i can’t even express in words how incredible she is at her job. (ask for her) i was there for a longer period of time and the owner ended up buying me food!! they also offer you coffee, tea, etc.. they continue to ask you throughout your time there if you’re comfortable, if you need or want anything and they just make you feel right at home. i’ve been here a few times now and they continue to act this way every time. if you see this review it’s definitely your sign to go here. i’m wowed and i will continue to go here myself.

I've been a loyal client at NY NY Hair Salon for over 5 years now. I love the experience at New York New York. From the warm greeting I receive when I walk through the door I feel like I am entering an old friends place. The staff are friendly, happy and there to offer you one of their warm beverages. Nidaa, my stylist is amazing, her expertise and creatively are nothing but top notch. I would recommend her in a second. If you are looking for an awesome experience with talented stylist look no further than NY NY Hair Salon.

My experience at New York New York hair salon is honestly exceptional. The staff is always welcoming as soon as you walk in. Vince is very nice and always has a smile on his face when you walk into the salon. I have been coming here since I was 5 years old and never had a bad experience ever. Always been treated like family. 5 star experience for sure.
