Disappointing to say the least. I booked here because everyone said it was "the best". When I called to make an appointment I asked for someone with experience, particularly with curly hair. She must have forgotten when she was telling me all about an event on the day of my appointment with cupcakes etc. I was booked with a junior stylist, and everyone but me was offered cupcakes. I had been booked in for a partial colour as that was in my mat-leave budget. My stylist said that balyage? Was considered partial. I thought it odd, but it's beautiful - and I paid for it. Although having photos of the cut when I walked in, she didn't know how to cut it. She did ask, and got direction. If I had straight hair, it would be great. I did caution that the back couldn't be too short, or it would never lay flat. It won't lay flat, it's going to be a summer of growing out an awkward haircut. The colour isn't good enough to make up for that. Sad to say that I'll have to find somewhere else to take my daughter on the girl's day that I had promised.

I booked hair and make up for my wedding with the Hudson, for myself, my bridesmaids, as well as my mom and her friend. I also had a mani/pedi the day before the wedding. The trials and the day of went really well -- everyone was happy with how things turned out, despite the stylist that I had my hair trial with leaving the salon before my wedding date, and having a completely different stylist for the day of. I have to leave a negative review because they overcharged our account, and are now no longer responsive to my requests to refund the difference (It's been ~ 1 month, despite emails and phone calls). It's unfortunate that such a good experience was spoiled after the fact. Will not be returning, or recommending this business in the future. Update: After posting this review, the refund was initiated and has been received.

I made a last-minute appointment for a cut while at the cottage and was really happy with the result. Courtney gave me a great cut - exactly what I was looking for. She took her time and went over the 45 minutes to make it perfect. I thought it was well worth the price.
