I went to Jet Black earlier this week to get my hair coloured for the very first time. I requested a burgundy colour and Ilona did a fantastic job. My hair feels healthy and I love the colour, and have gotten lots of compliments on it. Kat also gave me a haircut to freshen up my layers and she did an awesome job as well. Looking forward to going back!

I went in to trim dead-ends and a side bang. I did not get it styled, just washed and blow-dried. The base cost was 80$. 78$ for the cut&blowdry and 2$ for something called "Eco fee" not sure what that is though. with tax, and a 10% tip, my cut was 99$. I think it's a bit outrageous that in total I spend 100$ to get a trim and some bangs. Maybe if I had it curled/styled, or I asked for a bob/pixie (requires more effort) I could justify the cost, but I genuinely think I got ripped-off. I hear a lot about this place, and I've heard mentions of the cost, but I'm genuinely just sad that I'm out 100$ and have very minimal to show for it. Sadly, although I loved the woman who did my hair (Kat), I cannot return and this will be my last visit.

My first time here, I booked with an intermediate stylist for a cut and colour. I explained on the phone while booking that I wanted to go a couple of shades lighter. The receptionist did not book enough time for me with the stylist I requested, so I was placed with a junior stylist. She did not know what she was doing! She kept asking nearby stylists for advice. In the end, my hair came out banded (stripy), the colour didnâ€™t last long, and I was there from 8am-2pm! My entire day was lost, and this was not cheap either! I think there are some talented stylists at this studio, but make sure you book and pay for a more senior stylist! And if the time quoted by reception seems too short for the service requested, mention it!

This place is so nice and clean. The staff are very friendly. My hairdresser is Kat. She has been doing my hair for 10 years and never I am never disappointed when I leave her chair. She is fun and easy to get along with. Highly recommend going to see her!!!

I had a great experience at Jet Black! Everyone was warm and welcoming as soon as I came in, and my stylist, Kat, was fantastic. Not only did she know what she was doing, she took her time and really informed me on what I should do with my hair to keep it looking good and not compromise the integrity of the hair. Thanks so much! Would recommend going here for sure!
