Merio's was originally started by Merio Lunardi, who sold this business a few years go. When he left the shop i did attempt to continue with the new owners, but unfortunately they did not do a good job. I have been able to contact Merio and still get my hair done by him

Five stars for the friendly staff. Negative stars for the hair. I spent over 2 years growing my hair back to the length I wanted after I had lost it all. All I wanted was to trim off the split ends. The stylist held in her hand as about 1cm of the tips and said that was all that needed to be cut. Perfect! I told her that was great because I was not wanting to lose anything more than an inch or absolute maximum 2. It will take about 5 months to grow back what was then cut off, and unfortunately I did not realize how much was removed until it was too late and it had to be completed to be even. I tried so hard to keep it together while sitting there because I didn't want to be rude or hurt her feelings because she was so sweet. Then she dried it. I don't know if it was the method used or the product, but my hair was a frizzy mess as the final result. I cried in the bathroom for a few minutes while trying to calm the frizz. I didn't have time for the issue to be fixed, I had other appointments to get to, which I had to tie my hair up and hide it under my hoods. 5 months from now my hair will hopefully be the length I want again. 6 months from now I'll get a friend to trim my hair, at I know my request will be understood.

The shop was clean and welcoming, and the staff were also friendly. Andrew did a great job on my hair getting exactly the look I wanted. Definitely going back and would recommend seeing Andrew if you are looking for a high quality haircut.

Wonderful service, I got exactly what I wanted for my hair cut. I walked out of there happier than I have been with other hair salons. The prices are a little more expensive than the website says but it is worth it. Miguel was fast, precise, and made my experience great. I will definitely be back.
