This is the hair salon at Wal-Mart, in Massena, New York. It is located inside the store, in a big booth. I had a 9:30am appointment there today, to get a buzzcut.
I arrived right before 9:30 for my hair cut, only to see that there was only one worker and she had a client. I did not want to wait a long time, so I asked her how long she would need. She said "15 minutes". I told her I did not want to wait a half hour or so, and asked her again if it would actually be 15 minutes or much longer. She said 15 minutes, so I decided to wait. This was the start to bad service, but I took her words as holding truth to them, so I decided to stay.
Over half a hour later, she finally finishes up. I was quite mad at this point. I told her I had a 9:30am appointment and that I had waited over 30 minutes. She said "these sorts of things happen". I told her I wanted an apology and a discounted haircut. She said she couldn't do that and did not apologize. She didn't even offer an apology, just made excuses. She was not the slightest bit friendly. I asked her if the person before me had an appointment, she only said that the person had "come in" and did not answer my question. Evasiness is a characteristic of people who know they did something wrong but do not want to acknowledge it. At this point, I decided to cut my losses and just left.
Whatever you do, do not go to this hair salon for a haircut. By the way, Wal-mart upped their prices and slashed their "discount Tuesdays". Bad service and high prices.....way to go. I rate this place 0 out of 10.
