I've been getting my hair done at Vanguard since they opened. I get complimented on my hair on a regular basis due to Julie's fantastic work. The salon is warm and inviting and everyone there is so friendly! I would recommend Vanguard to anyone looking for a quality salon with a really great atmosphere!

I came here for a balayage and trim, and while the ambience and service was wonderful, I didn’t leave the salon in high spirits. I was looking to have a soft balayage done that blended nicely into my natural hair. I provided photos for reference, etc. Unfortunately, I left with what can only be described as a block of bleach blonde. Having paid $250 for this, I felt a bit uneasy. I didn’t actually realise the extent of the blockiness until I went to other hairstylists later (to have toners on to temporarily rectify the horror!) who told me it was very bleached and more like a chunky ombré. Despite it looking good or not, I felt $250 was very steep for a balayage. I’ve since had my hair beautifully highlighted plus olaplex for $100.

I have been going to Vanguard for about 3 yrs. and have seen 3 stylists, each of whom was excellent. I'm now seeing Sharon, who is highly skilled, quick and helpful.

This place is incredibly amazing! This is the first place my girlfriend and I went to and we more than fell love with the place! Julie and her crew are the most efficient and professional group of ladies and we can't wait to come back every few weeks! Not only is the atmosphere of the elegant salon to die for, but the curtosy of amazing staff is a top above the rest. Thank you Julie for everything! You're incredible!
