Called first thing in the morning and was very glad when they were able to accommodate me for a wash/blow dry in the afternoon on a Sunday! When I arrived, the stylist approached me and did a mini consult asking exactly what I wanted and the style. I told her I wanted the same style that I came in with just professionally done so it was nice and clean. (I came in with curls at the ends) after my hair was washed she asked me how I wanted my hair parted and I said the middle. She just used her finger/nail to do my part which was completely crooked. I told her yes, I want my part there....just straight. So she again used her nail to re-part it and it was still extremely crooked. I let it slide as I knew that was something I could fix after myself (not why you go get your hair done) She then blow dried it completely straight with no volume even thought i told her I wanted a little. After the service I asked her for a fine tooth comb so I could fix my own part and had no time to fix the style after the service as I had an event to attend. I paid 60$ after tipping to have a service done that I could have done myself at home (probably better) I am in the beauty industry and felt ripped off. I understand Sundays aren't an ideal day to work but being attentive will bring customers back-or maybe she's new to hair? either way...She was a lovely lady with a great personality which is what the extra star is for in my review just did not listen to what I wanted. Too bad as this salon is super close to my home and would have loved to return for my regular blowouts.

I have never had a horrendous experience getting highlights. Iâ€™ve been getting it done for over three years and never ever was humiliated!! Iâ€™ve always walked out from a salon happy never angry! This salon, not only is the staff rude and disrespectful to their clients but REFUSED to apologize when it was their own mistake!! She ended up leaving bleached patches on my scalp and just hid it in my hair. I was offered to get my hair fixed but I refused as this was my first time at this salon and this was obviously a sign of the quality of work. So I asked for a refund- which was understandable. What wasnâ€™t, was the way I got my refund!! I was then informed that because the owner has left town,the receptionist could not give me the refund without the owner present( told me to come back next week)-which clearly is not my problem since the owner shouldâ€™ve had someone in charge in case any emergencies happened. For a whole hour, I begged for my money as I couldnâ€™t come back the week- until the owner finally called me! She kept saying how I made everyone uncomfortable for making a scene as though her staff wasnâ€™t being disrespectful and was even trying to push my mom out of the salon. Of course we were angry. Of course we were upset. Of course I was on the verge of tears. They made me BEG for my own money after THEY made a mistake!!! Iâ€™ve never have been so humiliated, so disrespected!! INSTEAD of making me beg for my money, instead of making me feel so small- they couldâ€™ve just gotten the owner to talk to me then ( not at the end). I was there for an hour! This is not how you do business. You donâ€™t make customers feel small! You donâ€™t humiliate them after your stylist makes a mistake and then hides it!! This was the most stressful 24 hours. I suggest not wasting your money, your time at this salon- no matter even if you go for a consultation (which I did by the way). still canâ€™t believe this all happened at a salon. Iâ€™m in shock. This is so unprofessional!! Never will I step foot in there again. So disappointed.

Probably the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Overall horrible experience. I think Iâ€™m still in shock of how my hair turned out. I wanted to go shoulder length short and ended up with a super short bob style cut. I have curly hair and it is really hard to style it when it is this short. I have no idea what the hair dresser was thinking. I am pretty sure he was in a rush because another client came in unannounced and he wanted to squeeze him in right after my appointment. Very unprofessional in my opinion. And I am sure he knew he messed up a bit too. Never going back again. I donâ€™t understand why it is so hard to listen to your clients and what they want.

My experience with Mane Society salon has everything to do with Amalia. I took a chance on calling this salon as I was in desperate need to fix my at home bleach job. Thankfully they were open on a Sunday and Amalia was able to take me right away. I have blonde hair and I was skeptical and scared that I would be doomed to have yellow, orange or even grey hair when I left- as this has happened to me in the past at different salons. Amalia was incredibly patient with me and explained to me that I would not leave the salon until my hair was perfect. She knows what sheâ€™s doing, she bleached & toned my hair perfectly. I can not express how relieved I felt. She is a true professional & she understands the chemistry of colour. She did a marvellous job and I will absolutely be seeing her again! Amalia you are an Angel!! Thank you!!

I see Ella at the salon. Sheâ€™s amazing with blow outs and styling. I recently had my colour done with her and she was amazing in matching it to my natural hair colour. Great job!! Sheâ€™s the sweetest to chat with as well. Great salon, everyoneâ€™s helpful and nice and itâ€™s not overly expensive, go check them out!
