So many people are loyal to this place. I was too, until recently. I got a trim and the lady, as uncharacteristic as it was, trimmed way too much! She shortened my hair by about 4 inches at least, but probably more. I took pictures to show Harlet, so that she could see the before and after of the trim. The pictures were dated and the difference was clear! While she apologized about the length, she claimed she didn't believe her girl was responsible because she trains them a certain way. Such a cop out! You greatly impacted me in the most negative way and I didn't even get a real apology or any real acknowledgement! Harlet gave me $10 dollars back for the trim. I believe it was only because I told her I was going to dispute the charge with my credit card company, which I am still doing! This was a sad, traumatic, event for me. I'm sure they made their money back, but I'm still missing my hair! I will NEVER recommend them, or go back there again. It wasn't just the trim. It was the treatment afterward. I can't believe how I was dismissed, like I was a liar or like I was exaggerating. Even with pictures in hand! They were protecting their own interest. Meanwhile, my hair is somewhere on their floor and in their garbage cans.

At first I had excellent service until yesterday December 27, 2017 when I took my daughter to get her hair done. The first stylist who was new drop her comb on the floor and then was about to put it in my daughter's hair. Now that's a no no. So then Karen did her hair and I was pleased. Then I went to pay and the mother put my change on the counter instead of in my hand. Very rude and unprofessional service. I will not be going back but Karen did a wonderful job and that's why I gave them two stars. We give them our hard earned money and we should get better service than that.

I get more then what i pay for every time i go there for my hair care. And id never thought id say it but its well worth the wait when they are crowded. Plus i have gone to other salons, paid more, and received less quality work and healthy hair care.

Do NOT be tricked by your first trip to this salon. You might think this salon can do awesome hair and gets you hair bone straight but , they have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If this thing would let me give Harletâ€™s Salon 0 stars if I would! Iâ€™m outraged! The lady in the corner next to Harlet with the bump on her lip and that is always wearing a skull cap burned me not once, not twice, but three times!!!! Not only does my hair smell burnt, but I also have a burn on the side of my head! And then had the nerve to make it seem like it was my fault that I got burned! She said that I shouldnâ€™t be moving and if I wasnâ€™t, I wouldnâ€™t get burnt. But umm excuse me, I then got my hair done many many times, I know how to stay still, and you didnâ€™t say anything before!! Furthermore, Harlet and her employees have very FILTHY attitudes!!!! I donâ€™t even think half of them have a license to do hair!!!! Besides that, most of them donâ€™t even speak English!!! How am I suppose to tell you how I want my hair if you canâ€™t understand what Iâ€™m saying?Thats why most of the original staff has QUIT!!! Another thing, the wait is ridiculous! I went at 8:30 in the morning and I didnâ€™t leave the shop until to 2:30!!! That is almost a whole work day!! And itâ€™s not even like they a professional celebrity hair dresser!!! I guarantee that I am NEVER EVER coming back to this HORRIBLE shop again and I advice you to do the same unless you want to leave with a headache and irritated!!
