very welcoming, listened to what I wanted, and had good advice. i'm coming back for sure, with my kids. keep in mind they work on a sliding scale so haircuts are usually between $25 and $60 and you pay what you think the cut is worth / what you can.

Got my hair cut yesterday at this spot, and I love my cut. I went in with a lot of ideas of what I wanted and thought I was being too vague, but Harry helped me figure out exactly what it could be. Highly recommended! Will definitely go back

I had the cutest haircut and experience there today! Normally, I dread going to the hair salon because I can't do small talk and had negative experiences in the past where I ended up hating my hair afterwards. Miwa was super chill and made me feel comfortable right away! We actually ended up talking the whole time while Miwa gave me a great haircut. I think this is the first time I've been happy with a haircut. They do a sliding scale so you pay what you're comfortable with between 25 to 60 dollars. I think that is so awesome and inclusive. I will definitely be back after this positive experience. (also for logistics: you can book your appointment by texting the number on the website, you have to walk 5 mins from beaubien metro to get there, and they said they usually accept cards but today they didn't have the machine so make sure to bring cash!! or you can do an etransfer like I did)
