Opel is amazing - I won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows. She makes more personal waxes easy, comfortable, and fast. I cannot recommend the skin bar enough.

I called to set up a facial, haircut, and eyebrow appointment in the weeks leading up to out engagement photo shoot. I had planned it out so that I could go directly from the salon, with my freshly cut and styled hair, to the photo shoot. My eyebrows turned out great (thank you, Mandi!) but I was very disappointed that the salon waited to call me until one hour before my haircut was scheduled to let me know that my appointment was cancelled. I then had to scramble (while at work) to find anyone who would take me so last minute. Luckily, Salon Ivy is better versed in customer service and fit me in right away. **I would have given The Skin Bar a much lower rating if it weren't for my excellent experience with Mandi.** She deserves a full 5-star review for going above and beyond, making sure I was comfortable and felt good about the brow plan every step of the way. Like many people who wish to have beautiful bold brows these days, I'm trying to grow them in and am very protective/wary of people who don't listen to what you want and end up severely over-waxing your brows. Mandi listens! She gets it and I am very grateful for her... but unfortunately I can't say the same for the rest of the salon.

I love this place BUT a negative that I must address is that appointment times should be set in stone. For example, if my appointment is at noon, I would like to be seen at noon give or take 5-10 mins max. But todayâ€™s visit, I had to wait approximately 35 mins beyond my appointment time. I am very busy and have things to do. I hope thatâ€™s something the Skin Bar should work on.

The whole environment is welcoming and comfortable. I received a 60 min custom facial from Anna and my goodness! She did a skin care consultation, gave me the run down on what I was doing right and wrong and then gave me the most relaxing facial of my life. Iâ€™ve walked away from other facials before feeling oily and greasy but not this time, my face felt soft and nourished and I felt so very very relaxed. Anna used a natural skin care line and gave me suggestions for products which I bought but they werenâ€™t pushed on me. Definitely recommend!!

I emailed for my daughters 13th Birthday surprise. I needed her hair done up, nails (fingers & toes) and her makeup done to make her feel special for her big day. They wrote back and said we can do it all! Then we arrived and I swear all of the people that work there are amazing! Super friendly and caring! They did an amazing job from check in to check out! All of the services they provided were top notch. They even lit a candle on a cupcake and sang happy birthday for her with birthday flowers and these awesome four leaf clovers! Iâ€™m not kidding this place is amazing!! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Itâ€™s a nice clean place with affordable with great service all around! They also provide a military discount. I think if youâ€™re looking for a one stop shop for girlie services, this is the place! Donâ€™t look any where else! Youâ€™ve found a great place I promise you!
