I had an appointment for 4pm 07/19/2017 scheduled by Casey on the morning of 07/18/2017. Casey assigned Lacey to me for a 30 minute deep tissue massage. I arrived at 3:42pm 07/19/2017 as the website states to arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time to complete paperwork. I stood at the desk until 3:51pm(no one had even acknowledged nor greeted me). Then a middle-aged, short, hispanic women walked into the lobby to exit the front door and said "what do you want?" I was shocked at her inhospitable nature and comment. I told her I had a 4pm appointment for massage. Again, with an extremely unfriendly demeanor, have a seat someone will be with in a minute. And she walked out the front door. When she walked back in, again with a very frigid facial expression, demanded I sit down. I told I did not want to sit down and told her I wished to have my full 30 minute massage and not to waste my massage time on paperwork. She simply walked to the back. By now it is 3:55pm, the hispanic woman took a seat at a table and played on her phone and there was only one pedicure customer besides myself-still waiting. I looked in the doorway where the employee giving the pedicure and the hispanic woman playing on her phone were and inquired, again, when would the process begin. This very large, overweight black women with the disposition of a lemon came to the desk, checked the computer and said very roughly "your appointment is not until 4pm". I told her that the boardwalk website states to arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. That shocked her as she paused and did not have a response. But only for a few seconds and back to her gruff attitude towards me demanding that I "sit down and that Lacey knew I was there." I reiterated that I did not want my paperwork to be part of my 30 minute massage and wanted a full 30 minute massage. She rolled her eyes and gave me a dirty look, returned to her only customer and began spewing negatively about me to her customer. I let her know I could hear her. Her attitude was pure repellent. A minute later a woman with extremely short blonde hair and black jeans walked out of one of the cubicles in the back area and checked the computer(I feel 99.4% sure this was Lacey). She gave me a sort of dismissive nod and returned to her cubicle.
At 4:02pm I left this establishment. They did not deserve my money and their overwhelming reluctance to greet and accomodate a new customer was appalling. I will spread the word at work. To family and friends. And anywhere and anytime someone asks me for a referral.
Good luck staying in business. At this rate and with the less than zero customer service, you will most certainly need it.
