I was there today for the first time. I found the "welcome" rude, unfriendly. At the front door it says "no appointment required". I asked if there was an opening within 20 or 30 minutes. I was asked "what do I need to be done" simply shampoo and set (blower and flat iron). I can see at least 2 hair stylist and perhaps someone else behind the wall/counter.. and no customers waiting...).but the answer I got was " can you come back tomorrow??? ( why, since I can wait TODAY, for 30 or plus minutes...) without explanation they would not take me. I certainly would not recommend this location to any one, at least if it's your first time...perhaps this place only takes and choose their customers...Anyhow in my opinion, for a salon that has been operating since 1987, perhaps it's time to close or employ NEW Hair Stylist. Take God there is better Hair salons and friendly one in the area...

I had two perms done here and they did a pretty good of doing the soft wave I requested (altho one of the stylists spent much of the time on her cell phone). But I recently went to get a hair cut, and was not happy. I requested a one-inch trim and stated I like the sides a bit longer than the back. First, the stylist parted my hair on the wrong side and when I mentioned it, she said she liked it better the way she did it and I could change it when I got home. Not only did she cut way more than an inch from the length, she also cut the sides quite a bit shorter than the back. When I objected, she said it was too late, but not to worry because it will grow out. Yeah, in about a year.

Have been twice now and scheduled for another cut this week. After years of just OK cuts at other places my stylist really listened and did just what I asked. Very happy and I have recommended my friends to my stylist as well.

My stylist is the nicest woman who has ever done my hair. She is a great stylist, professional, and willing to listen to what I want done with my hair. It is a nice no-frills shop with good prices and good people. I recommend them highly.
