Not gonna lie I felt a little awkward being a man in a salon, but honesty I can say that once I was in there and settled in that feeling went away quickly. Everyone at Rehab is cool, from the front desk to the owner and on to my stylist, Julie. I have to mention the fact that the owner, I think her name is Ann Thi, is pretty funny (in a good way). She may have noticed that I was feeling a little uncomfortable and came over and said an ice-breaking joke to make me feel welcomed. I was also offered something to drink while I waited for my appointment since I arrived early.
I booked an appointment with Julie because I had been growing my hair out and needed some direction on what to do with it. My hair is also naturally very wavy, which I don't like, so she had recommended I do a Brazilian blowout to help straighten it out. Well, it worked out pretty good! She also trimmed a bit off of the top and cut it so that it would allow for better styling later. And she blow dried/flat ironed my hair and gave me tips on how to do it myself at home next time. Not sure how good I'll be at that part so I may have to come back for her professional help lol.
I love the end result and how smooth my hair is with the Brazilian blowout treatment. I'll definitely have to come back and get it again once it wears off.
