First time at Impression today and I am impressed with the service received. My stylist was Chiaki and she was very attentive and really listened to what I wanted. My color needed updating and a haircut too. She was very patient in helping me decide the right way to update my color and went over several hair color options. She was very efficient getting everything done in 2 hours. My last hair appointment took a total of 10 hours over a span of 2 days with another stylist in Westwood and charged me double what my bill came to today. Impression gives you great pricing with free parking, Japanese style service that includes a scalp, shoulder, neck and back massage. It's for a few minutes only but it's the little things that make this place special. The products used are first rate as well. If you've never tried a Japanese hair salon, go to Impression!

Yuri is phenomenal. She did a fantastic job of expertly coloring my hair in a minimal amount of time. Ppl who are this good usually don't feel the need to be pleasant, but she is an absolute sweetheart. My hair has found a new home.

Oh. My. God. I could not be happier with my cut from this stylish, friendly salon. Chiaki understood exactly the asymmetrical style I was looking for and gave me a beautiful, bouncy, stylish but not excessively trendy look. She shampooed, cut, styled, rinsed, blow dried, added a very interesting Japanese hard wax and gave me a scalp and shoulder massage for less than I've paid for a simple cut at other salons. If you're looking for an amazing salon experience for way below the normal price, you've found it. The first picture is right outside, the second is at the Hammer Museum, after walking about 25 minutes through windy streets. I don't think my face really looks that fat, for the record but the selfie camera distorts it. Regardless, that's both sides of the cut.

The team is amazingly skilled and they make you feel pampered. I absolutely love the washing stations since you sit almost upright without being moved to a laying position like many other salons.
