Great haircut place with super friendly haircutter ladies. The only negative would be the long wait if you show up without an appointment. As a result, I'd recommend calling in ahead of time to make an appointment. Otherwise, the haircuts are great!

I called for an appointment around 3:30 PM. They refused to book one and asked me to just walk in. Any person who heard that would think that they are not busy at this time. Even google maps mentioned that it's not very busy in pink. Now I drove 30 minutes and parked my car (Metered parking cost $3.50 per hour) for an hour. I see 3 customers getting a hair cut with 5 people waiting for their turn. Another person walks in with 4:30 appointment and he gets precedence over us. Understood. Why was I denied an appointment when I called much earlier? They close at 6:00 PM. That gives me 2.5 hours to get a hair cut and even if it takes 30 min to reach. FALSE communication saying "you can just walk in" and not being apologetic and arguing is complete arrogance. One lady was looking at customer as thorough the day is never going to end for her. My question is WHY THE HELL ARE YOU open if your don't like customers coming? Fake manners, over priced hair cuts makes it a strict NO-GO place.

I've had haircuts here ever since I was a freshman at Cal. I've never been disappointed and I always go back. I recommend Sophie in particular -she's clearly a professional and makes sure you're happy.

I just asked for my hair to be thinned and trimmed an inch. The lady didnâ€™t do what I asked and kept insisting she knew what was best for me.
