Similar to many other reviewers, I came to Joe (or Jo? sp?) after buying a Groupon deal for ombre and a haircut. He's located at Sola Salon studios along with a bunch of other hair and spa businesses, which is an easy location to reach by transit, uber/lyft, or walking if you happen to be nearby. Joe was very friendly and took time at the beginning of the appointment to ask questions and get a better understanding of what I wanted. I came with pre-lightened hair and wanted to go even lighter, with ashy tones. And I was not disappointed! There's a nice gradient so the line where the colour changes isn't super obvious, and my hair felt really soft and not straw-like at all after all the bleaching. The haircut was my usual, medium to long layers that frame my face. Another business owner walked by and even came in to compliment my hair, so I was feeling pretty good about it. I'm so happy with the results and I'll definitely consider coming here again the next time I need a haircut or colour job.
