I made an appointment for 2:30. I get there on time and they tell me it's an hour wait. I told the girl that I had to be somewhere and couldn't wait. She just said "ok sorry" and just shrugged it off. I drove a half hour and paid for parking. Please be more considerate of people's time. Looks like a place that double books. Huge turnoff for me especially since it was my first time coming. I won't be back.

My entire family goes to JAHA for their natural haircare needs. Very impressed with professionalism of the staff and the atmosphere. Many stylist attest to maintaining locs but really don't understand that locs are more than just a re-twist... To maintain locs is to understand that they are to be nurtured and handled with care. I always say when I go to JAHA its as if I'm taking my locs for a spa and it feels as such. From shampoo to style my hair is nurtured. If you are in the area and want true loc maintenance...this is the place! Bless!

I moved to Maryland back in 2005. I found Jaha Hair Studio around 2007. My first stylist was awesome. I then moved from Maryland to Alabama for 8 Years. I just moved back to Maryland December 2016. Since I have arrived back in town my stylist did move on to another shop. However my new stylist is just as good as my first Stylist. I highly recommend Jaha Hair Studio! Great Place, Great People, Great Environment!

I have been going to Jaha salon since I decided to keep my hair natural. At the beginning it was great, one of the stylist was African American and was doing a wonderful job. I went back there again and the stylist I was used to left to a different location and I had my hair done by someone else. I let her do my hair thinking it will be the same and realized that she did not have much experience with natural hair. When I left the salon, my braid looked 2 weeks old. I was unhappy and just couldn't ask them to give me my money back since I have been their customer for a while and was considering the time they spent on my hair even though the stylist did a terrible job. I left the shop frustrated and regretting all the money spent to have "old braids" on me. I removed the braids two days later and decided not to go back there again. If you do not want to waste your money, RUN AWAY.........
