I've been going to this salon off and on for a couple of years, I have naturally really thick 3b hair. It's all true they burned my scalp with the blow dryer. I get super wet from the wash, there is never anyone else in the salon and they charge me extra to flat iron. LADIES my hair does not look like my hair when they're done, the products they use work so well on my hair looks like I got a silk press and feels even better. Every time I go there I get a press and it looks like I got a silk press. True, it might be because of my hair type, but I have never had any breakage and would love to go more if I could. I would go every other week, if I could but that just isn't in the budget. I'm moving to Richmond and while hair salons are cheaper, I will miss these kinds of results!!! It looks like the reviews are pretty split, but I've been to a ton of Dominican Salons in my 37 yrs and never has my hair looked so go that I keep coming back. I've only ever had so-so results in the past. I've learned over the years that consistent results are everything!!

Miriam gave me the most amazing cut last month. I have 4c natural hair and she straightened it well without the usage of too much excessive heat or a deep conditioner. I highly recommend.

Love it they do a wonderful job! My hair is natural and this is what a Dominican blowout is.... love it!!!

Very disappointed. Never ANY clients in the building; alarming. Miriam is a nice person but burnt my hair and scalp. My hair was mishandled and she broke it off while styling it, for the second time. I have learned my lesson. I'm done with this place and I don't advise it to anyone if you want to keep your hair.
