Aryn at Akada gave me the best cut I have ever had - and on my first visit! I have thick hair and no one has ever known how to work with it. Aryn did. I even got compliments at work on my haircut which never happens. I do not live close but will gladly travel the distance because only Aryn will style my hair from now on. My Akada experience was great and I love the Davine''s products. I highly recommend Akada, but especially Aryn - ask for her, you will get the best cut you have ever had, she knows her stuff. I’ve been looking for a good hair salon after my usual stylist moved away. I’m fearful of change and I’m picky when it comes to my hair. But with high recommendations I heard that Tabby from Akada was fantastic. So I decided to give her a try. I was impressed with the salon as soon as I walked in. The staff that greeted me was so friendly, the environment was clean and I was made to feel comfortable. Tabby is fantastic, such a sweet lady and is very talented. They value continued education for their staff and the new employees are trained well before being allowed to cut or color a customer’s hair (I know this because I asked a lot of questions), I really loved my cut and color, it looked perfect to me. After a few days of washing and styling my hair myself I noticed a few places that were bugging me because I couldn’t blow dry it just like Tabby did so it laid differently (I told you I was a little picky) . I called the salon and they got me right back in and Tabby cut a few places a little differently, at no cost to me. Now when I blow dry my hair it lays just right! I am so pleased and feel excited to have found my new salon. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Tabby and Akada for a wonderful experience. I’m enjoying my new cut and color.

I first made an appointment at Akada because I needed someone new to cut my hair. I wanted a fresh set of eyes to look at my face and hair and help me decide on my next cut/color. Amanda was and is amazing. She takes time to listen to you and looks at you as if its the first time she has seen you. She cuts amazing hair....goes back into it after drying to make sure there are no "heavy" spots. Her color for me is perfect as I asked for a natural looking brown and she nailed it....still does. All the stylists and assistants give the best hair wash and head massage ever...I joke that I'd like to make an appointment for that alone. I'm happy at Akada and thank Amanda and the staff for always making it a very pleasant experience!

I've been going to Akada Hair Salon for over 7 years and Mackenzie Myers has been styling my hair with expertise the entire time. I absolutely love her! Her cuts, color and sense of style is on point! She always keeps up with the latest trends and colors and gives me suggestions on my hair and what would look best on me. I would recommend Mackenzie a thousand times over to anyone looking for the perfect cut and color! Akada Hair Salon has a gem working for them!

I see Amanda and she is so good. I get partial highlights and a haircut she is very good I have never had any bad haircut and my highlights look awesome. She is also very personable while cutting my hair and doing my highlights. I have seen Amanda since she was a trainee and she is now a level two. I have referred several people to Akada and they have loved it there as well.
