I have been going to Tina for the last year and she is AMAZING!!! I will not trust anyone ever again with my hair or my child’s!!! She does a freaking awesome job! She actually takes time and cares about her clients and LISTENS!!! Not to mention the salon prices are unbeatable!!! If you are looking for anything from a cut or like me and getting 124 foils Tina is who I recommend!!!! My hair comes out beautiful every time!!!!

Great place, great ppl. Star does my natural hair to profession. Very relaxing atmosphere. She takes hair care very serious from basic haircut to colors, I've witnessed it all. The price is also affordable and standard unlike many salons.

My co-worker suggests this location after he hears I have tried many hair salons and never satisfied. This is the first time ever that I'm happy with my hair. Elizabeth is amazing. She spent about 45 min for my hair. It's exactly what I want. And guess what, price is so cheap, $9.99 for haircut. Definitely will come again.

My stylist poured so much love into my hair and I just want to say 'Thank you.' I had told her that I had wanted to look nice for my dad because I was about to visit him in hospice... On a professional note, I've had my hair done like this at least 20 times in varies hair salons in Gainesville and it has never looked as good as this turned out. I'm terrible with names, but she had bleached blonde short hair, and shorter 5"6.

I went there on Monday 11/28 for a long layered shag cut and hair color. The cut was okay (I found out after it was uneven). The color was terrible, it was not at all what I wanted, it didn't even match the color on the color swatch. I wanted a lighter shade of brown, like an ash blonde. what I got was a orange, golden orange hair. I told Brandi that I had a lot of red highlights in my hair. I also told her I did not like the color. When it was wet it even looked worse, Brandi told me it would not look like that when it was wet, well it did. I went to another hair dresser to tone, she was able to take that orange color out. She even fixed the uneven cut. my hair is not quite the color I want but it will be next time. I would like to get some of my money back ( I paid $105) but they make you sign something when you get your hair colored. My advice do not go here, this hairdresser (Brandi) would not even listen to me when I told her I didn't like it, it was too orange and golden color. I will never ever go back to Smartstyle hair salon in Walmart on Normandy.
