I drove to Jacksonville from Atlanta,Ga on March 4 to attend a baby shower. Hoping to possibly get my hair done. I found this shop on google, based on the good reviews I decided to give it a try. When I arrived at the shop there was only one stylist there. I showed her the picture of my hair and she told me that she would call someone to do my hair. I waited patiently for the other stylist to get there. I didnâ€™t mind waiting, I was just happy that they could fit me in. 30min to 1hr passed and the stylist came in, she immediately asked me to sit in her chair. I advised her that I had questions. She assured me that she could do it. My next question was the price. I had already had in my mind what price I wanted to pay, and when she told me the price I immediately tried to get back up to leave. The price she was charging for the style is actually cheaper in Atlanta. It was unfortunate I did not have enough time to get it done here, because I work ALOT. She eventually convinced me that she would be able to master the style. After 2-3hrs she was done and my hair looked NOTHING like the picture. The twist were too long and disformed, After paying her I asked if she could atleast cut them to make them shorter. She got upset and told me her Uber was on the way. Then finally said okay. So she cut them all different lengths and at this time I was running late for the shower, so I had to leave. When I finally got a chance to REALLY look at my hair, I was very disappointed. One side was longer than the other and my natural hair was showing. I texted the owner to see if she could refund half of my money back. She did offered for me to come back into the shop, but I had to leave right after the event to come back to Atlanta. Once I told her that she ignored my text??? I do not like writing bad reviews about businesses, but I felt this established couldâ€™ve shown better customer service than this. My hair style is a representation of your business and you should treat each customer and style as if it was your business card. Please read this review before you consider this shop. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend.

I was looking for a place to get my hair braided. I looked on Google and found Aje's hair braiding. I went over to her shop to see when I could get my hair done, and she said today. The price was good. And she said she could do. I am so happy that she said yes, I love my hair I got cornrows. I will be going back to have some twist done.

They charged me $50 to retwist my son's traditional locs. His hair looked the same way when he walked in except it was covered with lots of gel. I called the shop and told the woman that i was talking to that his hair was horrible and they did an awful job of course she tried to blame him saying he slept wrong or that he wasn't under the dryer long enough. She offered to redo it but he said no. So me and my son for the first time retwist his hair which looks great by the way will be doing his hair for now on.

Professional, friendly, and positive with the highest quality braids I have had my hair braided by African hairdressers all over the world, including in several European countries and Benin. This shop is top quality. Honest. Professional. Perfectionists. Responsive to my needs. I love to blend 3 or 4 colors each visit and they always habe what I need. When I change my style, they ask several quedtions and take their time to be sure they know my desired outcome. They always discuss proper hair care and nourishment with me to make sure my hair is growing and I get the most out of my style. Get your hair done here. You won't regret it.
