It is ALWAYS a pleasure to come and get my hair done with Nikki! Since natural hair is her expertise I just let her do her thang and it always turns out nice.

Nikki was recommended by my previous stylist when I decided to go natural. Curl Boss is amazing! She's the best natural stylist I've ever had. I appreciate her level of service. Nikki delivers on a relaxing, enjoyable salon experience. I have been a happy client for many years, and the quality of my salon experience has never faltered. She is consistent!!

Nikki was pleasant and professional. I came in for one service and during our consultation she asked if I world be interested in color. I had received a bad color job from a previous stylist and seen Nikki's work on Instagram. She had no issue with changing my scheduled service to “fix” the issue. My new color looks professional and very custom to what I had been looking for. It took a few mixes and tweaks but Nikki didn’t give up until it was on point! It’s refreshing when a stylist KNOWS what they are doing! I’ll definitely be back!

Do not book if you TRULY have long thick hair. I came in with about 40% heat damage to my hair. This stylist offered little to no expertise or options. It was "cut or not". When I decided to not cut and instead get a trim and transition style, the stylist had nothing to offer but "twist it up". When I became frustrated with her lack of engagement, she continued to deflect, stating "your frustration isn't with me, it's with who fried your hair". After probing for other options and MY offering of alternatives, one after the other were knocked off of the list due to her not having the supplies or the experience with hair my length. Not transparent at all about actual level of hair knowledge and ability to work with any type of hair texture and curl pattern. I left with my hair in 4 big sections. Take your money elsewhere.

It is always a wonderful, personal and relaxing experience when visiting Nikki. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Each customer gets attention and my curls are always Poppin'!!! She is the best.
