I posted a five star review about a year ago. I deleted it today and Im posting a new one.
Im a loyal customer , have been coming here when Im in Chicago for about 2 years. I travel a lot.
I like Valerie, she cut my hair few times, I had my eyelashes done here by a very nice lady ( she doesn't work there anymore) and I was happy with all the services. Until now.
5 weeks ago I had tape in extensions done by Valerie.
She did a nice job. They looked nice. The only problem was that she placed them a little low ( not close to the scalp) . I called the following day and talked to the owner who suggested to leave them be and see how it looks in 4 weeks.
I called back in 4 weeks talked to the owner again and let her know that they are in fact low and I need a re-tape job ASAP.
I did not make an appointment at that time.
So I called this week again to make an appointment. I called 3 times, 3 days in the row. Never got a call back. I called today from a work number and was told by Paola that they are booked and she will not be able to make an appointment for me. When I asked if I can make an appointment for next week, she said someone will call me about that. But no-one did for 3 days and today is not an exception.
Im not even upset that they don't want to do my hair anymore. If it bothers them that I called back, that is fine. They have the right to serve to whoever they want, but at least GET THE GUTS TO CALL THE CUSTOMER AND TELL THEM. Not let them chase you on the phone and not return phone calls.
Im very disappointed in their actions. I do not deserve this. My feelings are hurt by the way they have treated me.
